1st Quilt top!!

I have wanted to try my hand at quilting for a while now and I even have fabric for 3 different quilts! So I finally took the plunge this week! I am starting with a crib size quilt for my daughter. She is obessessed with cats right now so I found the cutest kitty fabric and used it as the jumping off point for colors, etc. I found a simple pattern on one of my favorite quilting/craft blogs, Cluck Cluck Sew. She had a tutorial for an easy Road Trip Quilt that only used 1/8 of a yard strips cut up. Its definitely not perfect, but I think its pretty darn cute.

I bought myself a walking foot so I think I am going to actually try and quilt this baby myself! Hopefully that goes okay!! Wish me luck!
